Browser Download Instructions
This section explains where your license file is saved after downloading it from the Internet and how to download it correctly using common email clients and browsers.
These instructions apply primarily to Outlook (New) / Windows Mail and Google Chrome (Gmail), which are the most commonly used.
Outlook (New) / Windows Mail
To download your license file using Outlook (New) Mail, follow the steps below.
In the email you received, your license file is shown at the top. Do not double-click the file. Double-clicking will attempt to open it instead of downloading it.
Instead, right-click click the dropdown arrow on the right and select "Save As", I dialog will appear asking you where, just REMEMBER where you downloaded it at. Typically the location is MyDocuments or Downloads directories. to Save the file.
The Downloads directory is the defualt location the program looks for when using the manual install method.
Click Save. Your license.license file is now stored in your Downloads directory and ready for installation.
Chrome Browser (Using Gmail)
When using Gmail in the Chrome browser, downloaded attachments are saved to the Downloads directory by default.
In the activation email you received, locate the license attachment and click the down arrow shown below.
The license file will be downloaded directly into your Downloads directory. When using the manual install method, the installer will automatically point to this location.
If you have moved your Downloads directory, you likely already know where your files are being saved.
If you are unsure, click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of Chrome, choose Settings, then search for Downloads. Chrome will display the current download location.
