Google Calendar
You can sync the Scheduler in The Paint Estimator with your Google Calendar. This allows you to receive email and phone notifications for upcoming jobs, estimates, meetings, and other events.
Google Calendar syncing is especially useful when you are out in the field and need reminders without opening the program.
The Paint Estimator does not store or access your personal calendar data beyond what is required for syncing. If you are not comfortable using this feature, you can leave it disabled.
Enabling Google Calendar sync
To enable Google Calendar syncing:
- Click the calendar icon at the top of the main program window
- Open the Scheduler
- Select the Google tab
- Toggle the Google Calendar switch to On
When prompted, restart the program.
Authorizing your Google account
After restarting, your web browser will open and ask you to select a Google account.
Select your account and continue. Google will then ask you to confirm access.
Click Allow to complete the authorization process.
When you see the confirmation message, close the browser window. The Scheduler will reopen automatically.
Selecting a calendar
Once authorization is complete, choose which calendar you want to sync from the dropdown list.
Create a new, separate Google Calendar specifically for The Paint Estimator. This keeps job scheduling separate from personal events and avoids accidental conflicts.

How syncing works
Each time you open the Scheduler, it will sync with your selected Google Calendar.
For example, if you add an event to Google Calendar while you are in the field, that event will appear automatically in the Scheduler the next time it is opened.
This two-way syncing helps ensure your schedule stays consistent across devices.
