Scheduler
The Scheduler works much like a standard Windows calendar. It allows you to schedule jobs, estimates, and other appointments, set reminders, and manage your workload visually.
You can also sync the Scheduler with Google Calendar so you receive reminders on your phone or other devices.
If you sync with Google Calendar, it is recommended to create a separate calendar specifically for The Paint Estimator. This keeps job scheduling separate from your personal events.

Scheduling multi-day jobs
To schedule a job that spans multiple days:
- Click on the first day of the job
- Drag your mouse across the additional days
- Release the mouse once all days are highlighted
Once the days are selected, right-click to open the context menu.
Click New Appointment to create the job entry.
Enter the job details. To color-code the job, select Scheduled Job from the Label dropdown. When finished, click Save and Close.
Scheduling estimates
Scheduling an estimate follows the same basic process.
- Click on the desired date
- Right-click and select Go to This Day
- Scroll to the desired time
- Right-click and select New Appointment
Label the appointment as an Estimate. If your calendar is synced with Google Calendar, choose a reminder time ranging from immediate notification up to two weeks in advance.
Click Save and Close when finished.
Returning to month view
To return to the Month view, click any of the red arrow icons in the Scheduler.
These examples cover the basics of scheduling jobs, estimates, and reminders. Most other Scheduler features are intuitive and easy to explore.
