Estimate Options & Tips
Below are a few helpful tips and shortcuts that can make working on estimates faster and more flexible.
Rounding the total cost
If you want to round the total cost to an even number, you can do so directly from the estimate grid.
Example: If the current total is $3,925.40 and you want to round it to $3,985.00, right-click inside the Total Cost column for that line item and select Adjust Total Price.
Enter the new amount and click OK. The program will automatically adjust the time for that task to account for the difference.
The Adjust Total Price option is only available when right-clicking inside the Total Cost column.
Editing grouped areas
If you used an area calculator to create a grouped section, you can edit that group after it has been added.
To edit a group, right-click on the group header (shown in blue) and select Edit This Group.
From there, you can adjust footage, dimensions, and other values used to calculate the group.
