OpenOffice

OpenOffice can be used to export and edit your proposals if you do not use Microsoft Word. It is a free, full-featured word processor that works well with exported proposal documents.

Tip:
Do all formatting after exporting the proposal to OpenOffice Writer. Bullets and advanced formatting added inside the program may not display correctly in the exported document.
Tip:
If you do not want to see the dotted boundaries around objects in OpenOffice, go to Tools → Options → Appearance and uncheck Object boundaries.

OpenOffice is a great option for users who do not use Microsoft Word. It is completely free and provides professional-quality document editing.
